Paris Trip

Hello Friends!

I’ve been a little absent this month because I took two weeks off to travel to Paris France with my mother, grandma and best friend/sister Emily. It was such an adventure! We went to the Palace of Versailles, Monets Garden and explored all around the city. I went to all the museums and ate the most amazing food. Seeing the art that I studied from childhood touched my heart. I did not expect to be tearing up, but seeing the the little dancer by Edgar Degas started my waterworks! I also really enjoyed going to the Gustav Klimt digital show, I got so many photos of Emily and she took some of me. I originally was not going to take my camera, but I’m so glad I did. I got to see my dear friend Monqiue (who lives in the city!) and Bergen (she’s a flight attendant, don’t scroll past her luggage shots)! What an experience of a life time, I hope you enjoy a little peak into my two weeks in Europe!

RISE/ Art Opening

The Purple Buffalo will be hosting a Stephanie Stein Photography exhibition June 8th! You don’t want to miss these shocking photographs and the stories behind them. After years of self discovery, struggle and long hours locked away, Stephanie has captured an all too real look into the story of hers and others personal struggle of their souls. This series of photography depicts the unique journey each muse has, though light and vivid colors.

Along with the exhibition there will be a collection of writing from the muses in an anonymous book for the viewers.

And wait….There is more! Musical talent Don Crescendo will be playing his tunes. You can check out his magic here: https://doncrescendo.bandcamp.com/

$5 cover, card or cash.
There will be 8x12 prints and original pieces for purchase.

For more information, check out the Facebook page. I hope to see you there.

D’yanis Portraits

D’yanis is a photographer based in Columbia. We both went to the Art Institute of Charleston and I remember wanting to take her photograph. She always said no, because she was shy. But what a dream! When she came to me asking for portraits to revamp her website and branding, I was so excited!

“Stephanie Stein Photography has made my experience great from beginning to end. She was very patient with me and made me feel comfortable to be photographed even with me being shy in front of the camera. I’m so happy with my photographs. I walked away feeling confident. She is definitely the person to book!” -D’yanis
